#dYdX Launches 2025 World Series Perpetual Market!
@dYdX has introduced a new kind of perpetual contract “2025 World Series Perpetual”, allowing users to trade leveraged positions on whether the Los Angeles Dodgers, led by Shohei Ohtani, will win the 2025 MLB World Series.
This marks one of the first prediction market-based perpetuals for a major sporting event, merging DeFi trading tools with the excitement of real-world outcomes.
Traders can now go long or short on the Dodgers’ championship odds with up to 5x leverage, stop-loss and take-profit orders and real-time settlement, all built directly on the dYdX platform.
This move opens the door for similar markets on elections, tournaments, and cultural events in the future, bridging entertainment and onchain finance like never before.
