1. @nic_carter says something unpopular/contrarian
2. Fade/doubt him
3. Realize in time that he is right
If Nic is concerned about quantum, there's likely good reason to be concerned.
It's possible to hold two seemingly-contradictory beliefs about quantum at once:
A) there's real potential for quantum to destroy the existing world of encryption, blockchains, etc (@nic_carter)
B) there will be only marginal economic value created by quantum (@MartinShkreli)
